I very much question the opportuneness/timeliness/appropriateness of such a step. 我质疑这样做的时机(是否合适)。 Avant de prendre cette décision, il faut juger de son opportunité. Before making this decision, we must evaluate its appropriateness. We must decide if it is the right thing to do now. 做决定之前，要先确定这样做是否合时宜。 英语的 opportunity 可以译为法语的 occasion 等, 当然, 用 opportunité 人家也懂啦. 如: I've been to Paris several times but I've never had the opportunity to visit the Louvre.
